This Union deck by Theory 11 is something special. It was inspired by imagery of the American Civil war, or to be more precise, by the Union led by Abraham Lincoln that would eventually go on and win the war and abolish slavery in the process. Although you'll find several illustrations referencing this, such as old flags and coats of arms, eagles and broken shackles, they've been designed in a wildly original manner. The black background is adorned by simplified, almost modern illustrations embossed in shiny bronze foil on the tuck box. The cards themselves use original designs combined with a reduced palet of colours to create a magnificent blend of classic and modern.
